Internationalism: Vietnam.

What's to make of it?

In terms of internationalism, would recognised franchises tend to globally dominate the market both on an economic and social sense as the culture of consumerism has a huge part to play in people's habitual spending?  Vietnam is amongst some of the up and coming countries in terms of growth, cultivating GDP and ranking in the global market of tourism, trading and political expenditure.

So?
What's good Vietnam?

Using the Pestel Analysis, I am going to demonstrate some examples of internationalism Vietnam has experienced over the years of its country maturing, and offer some recommendations to conclude.

What is the Pestel Analysis and what is it used for?

A small overview of what the analysis consists of:

- Various internal factors can affect the functioning of a business or the working of a project or the value of a brand, or in this case, our choice in country... such as Vietnam.

- PESTEL is a management framework used to analyse the external factors affecting projects/ brands, businesses.

- These factors cannot be controlled by the subject of choice, being business or Vietnam, but can influence decision making.  Which pays to keep all things in mind.

- Goes well with SWOT analysis.  Joining more constituents such as opportunities that may take interest or threats that take an interest in you.

Not too sure what the PESTEL analysis is?
Each of this word is a stakeholder in a very important acronym, Political, Economical, Social, Technological, Legal and lastly Environmental/Ethical depending on which stance, the last letter can serve you in a different stance.

Let's have a break down on what each letter is.

P - Political.
- Governmental tax policies / Regulations.
- Business regulations policies
- Government laws on competitions in the market place
- Foreign trade regulations.

E - Economical.
- Currency value / Exchanges votes
- National GDP
- Public spending power

S - Social
- Changes in styles / Choices
- Population demographics
- Community groups and pressure groups

T - Technological
- Rapid technology progress / Innovation
- Improvement in productions technologies
- Data storage / Protection technologies

L - Legal
- Laws relating to wages / Employment / Countries
- Employment taxation
- Working practice regulations

E - Environmental
- Carbon emissions / Foot print
- Environmental protection regulations
- CSR (Corporate Social Resposibility).

I endeavour to highlight some of this in recent news articles and other sources to depict each of these stakeholders within the analysis here in this blog.
